Worley signs on to provide services for Cheniere’s Corpus Christi LNG project

Worley of Australia has won a master services agreement for the provision of civil, structural, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical, HVAC and marine construction needs at Cheniere LNG’s Corpus Christi LNG facility under construction in South Texas. This agreement follows recent work that Worley has done for other Cheniere assets for the development of project and operational standards.

The Corpus Christi LNG export project is a three-train facility, with trains 1 and 2 already operational.  Train 3 is currently under construction for an anticipated startup in the first half of 2021. Once complete, this complex will have a designed export capacity of 13.5 million tons per year. Corpus Christi LNG is the first greenfield LNG export facility in the lower 48 United States.
