Final commissioning has begun for the third train of the Cameron LNG export facility in Louisiana.
The Sempra LNG led Cameron LNG export project in Hackberry, Louisiana recently reached the final commissioning stage for the third planned train of this project. This is expected to be the final train entry for this project, which has had engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning duties performed by McDermott and Chiyoda since its inception.
McDermott and Chiyoda have delivered engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the project since it began. Cameron LNG is jointly owned by affiliates of Sempra LNG, Total SA, Mitsui & Co. Ltd., and a company jointly owned by Mitsubishi Corp. Exploration Co. Ltd. and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha.
