Toyo Engineering was awarded a contract from Sasol to provide detailed engineering, procurement, module fabrication, and
construction support services for a 450,000 tpy linear-low-density polyethylene plant (LLDPE).
The new LLDPE unit will be part of Sasol’s
petrochemical complex under development in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
TOYO has been executing the front-end engineering design (FEED) services for this plant since 2013.
The LLLDE plant is scheduled for completion and startup in 2017.
Sasol is planning a world-scale ethane cracker with downstream derivatives including this LLDPE plant, applied the UNIPOLPE Process of Univation Technologies.
TOYO has vast experience in executing UNIPOL LLDPE
